Thank you to member ##47155437 for the obituary. I am posting it as written and noting there are possible errors. I had her birth as Feb 27, 1876. She was 4 years old on the 1880 census, 24 in 1900, 34 in 1910, 43 in 1920, 54 in 1930 and 65 in 1940. Her SS# application gives the birth of 1875. I tend to think she was born in 1876 but have listed the year 1875 as is on her grave marker. Her marriage to David is registered in Warren County, Illinois not in Galesburg, Knox County. They did live very close to Galesburg but in Warren County. I also have that she was born in Berlin, Hardin County, Iowa which is about 20 miles from Grundy Center. Ella is my Great-Grandmother.

MRS. ELLA ANNA HEADY
Mrs. Ella Anna Heady, 79, of 274 Garfield Ave., died Sunday in her home. She was born at Grundy Center, Iowa, Feb. 27, 1874, and resided at Batavia, Iowa 20 years before moving to Galesburg, where she had since resided. Her marriage to David Heady took place in Galesburg Feb. 28, 1899. He preceded her in death July 19, 1939.
Mrs. Heady was a member of the Warren Church, near Cameron, which church is not now in existence. Sewing was her hobby.
Surviving are two sons, Harvey of Alexis and Irvin of Galesburg; a daughter, Mrs. Georgia Howard of Galesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Leslie Jaggers and Mrs. Charles Denisar, both of Cameron. A son, Earl, preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1951.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Hinchliff and Wilson Funeral Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel Tuesday.
