Beeler came to Texas 59 years ago. He had been a service station operator in Montague County, Texas.
Emmet Beelar married Flora Rebekah Leatherwood on 16 September 1906 at Montague County, Texas.
He was recommended for the Grand Cross of Color in recognition of his services by the Grand Assembly of Eastern Star.
The only survivor is a brother - Earl H. Beeler of Antioch, California. He was too ill to attend the services.
Death certificate shows he was widowed.
