Mildred Elkins Baggett, 82, of Olney, passed away 11 April 1998 in a Cleburne Hospital. She was born 4 July 1915 at Ballinger, Texas to the late J.L Elkins - Olga Reese.

Mrs. Mildred Elkins King married Andy Lee Baggett on 26 June 1953 in Waco, Texas.

She received her B.A. at Howard Payne College and her M.A. at Hardin-Simmons University. She taught school in Blanton, Ballinger and Winters. She also taught third grade in Olney for 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Eastern Star and Delta Kappa Gamma. She had been a resident of Olney for approximately 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy.

Survived by one niece - Olga Hoggins of Cleburne.
