Died at the age of 38 in the Eastland Disaster. She was the wife of Gustav Anderson, who survived her, and the sister of Gertrude Berg, who also died that day along with Gertude's daughter Irene. Gertrude and Irene are buried in Mount Olive Cemetery in Chicago. May was the daughter of Knud Larson and Martha Sine.
