DIES OF GUN WOUNDS
Winchester, Ky., Nov. 19
Ben Creed, of Stanton, died in a hospital here today from gunshot wounds alleged to have been inflicted by Cecil Morton in a gun fray at Stanton Sunday. Deputy Sheriff Green Dennis was wounded when he
attempted to arrest Morton at the time. Physicians say he will recover. Morton was arrested and placed in the Powell county jail in connection with the shooting.
