She was born in her home near Walnut Grove, Logan County, on Feb. 12, 1933, a daughter of the late Charles Henry and Rachel Malinda Harvey Roberts. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Leonard Roberts, and a brother, Charles who died as an infant.
On June 21, 1951, she married George Lewis Adelsberger in Portland, Ind., and he survives along with a daughter, Mary Malinda Rodenberger Agner of Bellefontaine; sons, Joseph Arnold (Lori) Adelsberger of Rogersville, Tenn., and George William (Tina) Adelsberger and Eric (Krista) Adelsberger, both of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Terry (Andrea) Rodenberger, Travis (Tanya) Rodenberger, Tony Agner, Ike (Toni) Agner, Tyler Agner, Joshua James (Kristi) Adelsberger, Jenny Marie West, Sheryn Elizabeth (Barry) Warne, Jeremy David Titus, Emily Megan (Joseph) Walls, Katharine McDonald, George Aaron (Rebecca) Adelsberger, Bethany Joy (Shane) Barnard, Matthew Davis Adelsberger, Benjamin Davis Adelsberger, Nicholas Connor Adelsberger, Abbigayle Grace Adelsberger and Sophia Elle Adelsberger; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Roberts of Rushsylvania; and a sister-in-law, Maxine Roberts of Rushsylvania.
A 1951 graduate of Rushsylvania High School, she was a lifetime member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and previously was employed at Logan County Bank, Bank Ohio, Ohio Hi-Point Joint Vocational School, Merchants Industries, Logan Acres and the Rushsylvania Post Office.
The Rev. Lynn Cleaveland leads a funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, where visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial is in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
