Edmund married Stella Schott Mar 17, 1919 in Dalesville, Delaware, IN. At the time of his marriage to Stella, he was the manager of a garage in Merricourt, ND. He was also in Military service until August 1912 when he was honerably discharged.

In the 1920 census Edmund F. was living in Glen, LaMoure, ND. He was 28, born in WI (with both parents born in Germany). He was married to Estella, age 37 born in IN with her mother born in WI and her father in IN. They had several children by Stella's first marriage: Walter L., age 15 born in IN, Robert 13, born in IN, Frederick, 10 Born in IN, John 6 born in IN, and Rebecca (?) 6 born in IN. There was also one child of Edmund's: Ralph who was 2 months old. (born Nov 1919)

On the 1930 census Edward (sic) F. Reinhardt still lived in Glen, LaMoure, ND, age 37, and worked as a blacksmith. Estella was 49.( Estella was born in IN, her father in IA and her mother in IN.) Frederick was 19, John, 16, Jean, 14 (all b. in IN) and Ralph was 10, born in ND.

Ralph died in 1933, after which Edmund and Stella were divorced.

EDMUND F. REINHARDT, EX-LOCAL MECHANIC

A retired Bismark mechanic, Edmund F. Reinhardt, 814 No. 16th St., died at Fort Meade Veterans Hospital, Sturgis, SD, Tuesday at the age of 76. He had been hospitalized several years.

He was born Nov. 26, 1893, at Nelson, WI, the son of Christ and Louisa (Brunkow) Reinhardt. He was reared and educated in Wisconsin.

In 1915 Mr. Reinhardt moved to Ellendale and served with the armed forces in World War I. He moved to Alfred where he operated a machine shop and garage.

He married Sophrona Davis March 10, 1936 in Aberdeen, SD. The couple lived in Alfred until 1948 when they moved to Bismarck. Mr. Reinhardt was the shop foreman for the Bismarck Farm Equipment Co. until his retirement in 1959.

He leaves his wife, 814 No. 16th St., one daughter, Mrs. Claudius (Joyce) Wold, 1221 N. Washington St., one sister, Mrs. Edna Jost, Nelson, WI and two brothers, John, Wabasha, MN and Ferdinand, Dubuque, IA.

Mr. Reinhardt was a member of the American Legion and had served as Justice of the Peace and constable in Alfred and LaMoure County for years.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Boelter Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Hensel Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Donald Ratz, Orris Shattuck,Harry DeWitt, Delmar and Lyle Galagher and Alex Henne.
