Mr. Barham was born in Bartlesville on May 6, 1949 the son of Leroy Edmond and Erma Mae (Clark) Barham. He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville graduating from College High School in 1968. He entered the U.S. Army on November 30, 1968 and served in VietNam and Germany prior to receiving his Honorable Discharge on July 4, 1971. He returned to Bartlesville and was employed with Rig Cementing Company and then for the past 30 years has been employed with the Henton-Sturm Oil Company. He was a member of the VFW and he enjoyed fishing and sightseeing. He enjoyed visiting with friends and family and was always lending a helping hand to others.
Survivors include five sisters, Sandra Street of Bartlesville, Karen Key and her husband Carl of Dewey, Charlotte Cummins and her husband Bobby of Bartlesville, Joyce Hays and her husband Merle of Bartlesville and Ada Sue Scrivner of West Sacramento, California, two brothers, Johnny Leroy Barham and his wife Shirley of Oklahoma City and Larry Dean Barham of Dewey, two daughters, Amanda Redding of Bartlesville and Sharon Parsons of Tulsa, four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and his very special friend, Debra Eldridge of Bartlesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy Lee Barham and Arthur Ray Barham and one sister, Eva Grace Barham.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Barham were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Minister Bill Lawrence of the First Christian Church were accorded at the graveside by the James H. Teel American Legion Post #105 and services were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral home & Crematory.
