Eleanor Grace (Fiscus) Best, 62, of Knox, formerly of Cowansville, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Golden Living Center, Shippenville. Born Sept. 3, 1947, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Edith Marie "Toot" (John) Fiscus, of Kittanning, and the late Carl Fiscus. She previously worked at Fair's Rest Home in Kittanning and the American Legion in Knox. She was a member of Mt. Joy Methodist Church in Knox, a social member of the American Legion in Knox and the Clarion County Rod & Gun Club. Eleanor enjoyed crocheting and embroidering, collecting Ty Beanie Babies, and playing cards and fishing with her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Arthur Eugene Best, of Knox; son, Matthew Carl Best and wife, Fay, of Egg Harbor City, N.J.; son-in-law, Chris Wolf, of Knox; grandchildren, Matthew Keith Best, Kiara Elizabeth Marsh and Joseff James Wolf; and brothers, Raymond Fiscus and wife, Sally, of Reesedale, and Keith A. Fiscus and wife, Julie, of Kittanning. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by daughter, Melissa Grace (Best) Wolf; infant brother, Larry Fiscus; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Margaret Best; and brothers-in-law, Raymond and Philip Best. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, in Cowansville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Limestone-Reesedale Church of God in Adrian, with additional viewing one hour prior to the service, with Pastor Donald Breghenti, of Limestone-Reesedale Church of God, and the Rev. Randy Evans, chaplain of Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice, co-officiating. Interment in Waltour Cemetery, Reesedale.
