Gordon Neal Owen was the nineth child born to Homer Milton Owen and Bertha Elizabeth Tucker on 18 Aug 1910 in Butler, Kentucky. Gordon was the twin brother of Malvina Ann Owen.

Gordon married Ruby Mae Pribble on 15 Mar 1937 in Williamstown, Kentucky. Together they had 4 children.

Gordon served his country as a Private in the US Army during World War II.

Gordon passed away on 13 Mar 1975 in his hometown of Butler, Kentucky. He was 64 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; son, Neal; daughters: Sidney and Jennifer; sisters: Lottie, Mabel, Lillie, Marcel and Malvina.

Gordon is predeseased by his parents; step-mother, Ollie; son, James Gordon Owen; brothers: Wilber, Homer, and Herbert.
