Mrs. Helen Louise Sullivan Sinclair

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Louise Sullivan Sinclair, 56, of Lexington were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9 from the First United Methodist Church in Lexington with Rev. Andy Ray officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Sinclair, a native of Simpson County, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin T. Sullivan, and a housewife. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Lexington and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was an active member of the Magnolia Garden Club and served as chairman of several different committees.

Mrs. Sinclair died at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson after a brief illness on January 7th.

Survivors include her husband -Dr. Charlie R. Sinclair of Lexington: one son - Chuck Sinclair of Lexington; four daughters – Wanda Synder of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Kathryn White of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Karon Thames of Newton and Rebecca Lynn Sinclair of Cleveland; her parents - Mr. and Mrs. Marvin T. Sullivan of Mendenhall; three brothers – Charles Sullivan, Billy George Sullivan, and Wesley Sullivan all of Mendenhall; four sisters - Betty Sue Taylor of Mendenhall, Jane Everett and Glenda Mangum, both of Magee and Joan Roberts of Monticello: and four grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers were Dudley Rinicker, W.A. Edwards, Louis Alexander, Fred Taylor, Swep Taylor and Don Sullivan.
