His funeral will take place from Western Presbyterian Church on H street between 19th and 20th streets on Thursday evening at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend the
funeral services at the church (Post and Republican).

The Funeral of the Late Charles Calvert, a P.G.M. of the Order of Odd Fellows and an old citizen of the western part of the city, took place yesterday afternoon at the Western Presbyterian church.
There was a large attendance of the relatives of deceased, over 76 of his direct descendants being present, and the Grand Lodge and Friendship Lodge of Odd Fellows in carriages, and many
members of old Washington families.
The services were conducted at the church by Rev. Mr Wynkoop, the pastor, and at the grave at the Congressional cemetery (burial was actually at Glenwood Cemetery) on the part of the OddFellows by Rev. P.H. Sweet, acting grand chaplain. The pall-bearers were S.E. Douglas, G.C. Collison and Amon Duvall, on the part of the Grand Lodge, and B.A. Kidder, Geo. Rhinehart and John Wilson, on the part of Friendship Lodge.
