MRS. GRANT BLACK
Mrs. Lora Belle Black, 90, widow of Grant Black, died at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday in her home at 593 Manchester Avenue after a serious illness of two weeks.
Mrs. Black was a resident of Wabash 30 years coming here from Peru. She was born in Wabash County, April 15, 1866 to John and Julia Ann (Jone) McManis. She was married twice, first to Charles Herrell and later to Grant Black. Both preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Methodist church.
Surviving are a brother, Richard McManis, Toronto, Canada; a sister, Mrs. Deborah E. Poor. Anderson, who had been living with her sister, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two sons, Milton and Paul, two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 a.m. Friday in the Wire Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilbur Stouder officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Charles Kendall. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
