Laura Virginia Cripps
CRIPPS, Laura Virginia – Age 81, of Sutherlin passed away March 22 1997. She was born February 17, 1916 in San Francisco, California and had been a resident of Sutherlin for the past 50 years. She was married to Angus Cripps on June 26, 1923 in Riverside, California. She was a member of the Sutherlin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her husband Angus Cripps of Sutherlin; one daughter, Mary Diane Hollinger of Sutherlin; one sister, Marilyn Bush of Sacramento, California' six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. One sister, Carol Ulrich, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Sutherlin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Reed Finlayson officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Point National Cemetery near Eagle Point, Oregon. Those who wish may pay their respects from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 1997 at the Sutherlin Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Donations may be made in her memory to your favorite charity. The contributions may be left at the services or at the Chapel of The Firs in Sutherlin who are in charge of arrangements.
