Noah Lee Hale, 47, of Ferrum, Va., died Sunday morning June 13, 2010. He was a gifted cabinet maker in the Ferrum area for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Cal Hale; and sister, Ruth Mountcastle Mills. Surviving are his son, Jackie Lee Hale; mother, Annie Mountcastle Hale; sister, Betty Hale Brown; three aunts; two nieces and one nephew; numerous cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday June 15, 2010, with the Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountcastle Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ferrum Fire Department, c/o Chief Darryl Shively, 95 Shively Road, Ferrum, Virginia 24088 or to the Ferrum Rescue Squad, c/o Captain Lisa McCaul, 1392 Jamison Mill Road, Henry, Virginia 24102. His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday June 14, 2010, at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, Rocky Mount.
