SCOLES
Reuben T. Scoles, 75, of 234 East Woodland avenue, died at 9:15 o'clock last night at his residence of heart disease. He had been ill since May. Mr. Scoles was born in Kosciusko county and had lived in Fort Wayne for 17 years. He was a member of the Simpson M. E. church. He is survived by his widow, Rosa; one son, Leroy Scoles of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Charles E. Raker, and Mrs. Edward R. Frymire of Fort Wayne; two stepsons, Ray Davenport of Fort Wayne, and Earl Davenport, of South Whitley; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Brown of Columbus, O.; one brother Benton Scoles of Baker, Mont.; three half-brothers, William, Edward and Charles Scoles, all of Columbus; one nephew, Emory Spiglemyer of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Mungovan & Sons mortuary. Funeral arrangement had not been completed last night.
