Eli HORMELL, former well known Washington county resident, died Saturday, March 7, at his home in Atwater, Ohio. Mr. HORMELL who was aged 66 years, resided for a number of years at Coal Center and was a son of the late Jacob and Minerva LILLY HORMELL. He was born November 2, 1864.
His wife, Mrs. Minnie DUVALL HORMELL, died April 13, 1910.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Ernest LANG, John and Ralph, all of Atwater, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Mary E. MOFFIT, of Crest avenue, Charleroi, and four brothers, Jacob and William HORMELL, of McKean avenue; Nathan of California and Ellis of Washington, Pa. Two brothers, John T. HORMELL and Robert L. HORMELL and a sister Jane TAYLOR are deceased.
The remains will be brought to Howe's Church Wednesday morning, March 11 for funeral services at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow in Howe's cemetery.
