Funeral services for Inez S. Hill Van Horn were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Scotia with the Rev. Victor Skaggs officiating. Ord Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Van Horn died Sunday at the Valley County Hospital at the age of 90 years, one month and five days.

During the services, Mrs. Louise Brennick was the organist for Mrs. Genevieve Hoeppner who sang "Face to Face" and "Beyond the Sunset". Pallbearers were Hillis Coleman, Arthur Bartz, Sheldon Van Horn, Vernon Williams, Cecil Severance and Merlyn Stillman. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery at North Loup.

She was born Oct. 20, 1883 at North Loup to Herman and Linda Pierce Rood and was raised and attended school in that community. She was united in marriage to Otto R. Hill on Jan. 1, 1902 at North Loup. They made their home in North Loup.

After her husband's death she moved to California and was later united in marriage to Beacher L. Van Horn. After his death she returned to North Loup where she has made her home for the last 15 years.

She is survived by three sons, Mills Hill of North Loup, Russell Hill of North Loup and Dwight C. Hill of Omaha; one daughter, Mrs. Kate Harman of Wheatland, Wyo., 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and one granddaughter.
