wife of Frederick McLin 1794-1841 Veteran of War of 1812 who died in Pettis, Platte Co.MO April 2, 1841. Ruth petitioned to receive her husbands pension in 1846 because of her dire need. By 1850 she moved near her sisters in Linn Co.MO.

She was living with her son Perry J. Mclin in Polk County at her death.
