Mrs. Charles Ballard, one of this community's most estimable ladies, died at her home six miles south of Waynesville on Monday May 19, 1902 from blood poison. The remains were buried Tuesday in the cemetery near James Laughlin's place on Roubidoux. She leaves a husband and two small children to mourn her loss. The family and friends have our profound sympathy. Age 25.
