Mark was the seventh of ten children born to William Jasper and Mary Elizabeth OSBORNE Busby. He was a sharecropper and married Willie Etta GRACEY. From that marriage they had nine children:

Wylds Cemetery is no longer there as a cemetery. It is located on a hillside, on JB West land, going East from the Hwy from Forrest City to Helena, AR - about 5 miles South. Mark's grave has no marker.

Mark's namesake is his brother's, Charles, youngest son named Marcus Gipson Busby
