Mrs. Rebecca Harbaugh
Mrs. Rebecca (Smith) Harbaugh, 79, died at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Old Folks Home, Scalp Level, after an illness of one month. Her husband Frank Harbaugh, died July 28, 1940, also at the home.
Prior to coming to the home in June 1940. Mrs. Harbaugh had been a resident of Harlan Ave., Johnstown. She was born in Pleasantville, Bedford County, Sept 13, 1866, a daughter of James M. and Susanna (Callihan) Smith.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Nettie Barefoot, Pleasantville, and a brother Dorsey Smith of Johnstown. There are also 25 nephews and nieces. The deceased was a member of the Moxham Evangelical Church.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the Shank Funeral Home, Scalp Level. Burial in Richland Cemetery.
