Middleboro, Mass., Nov. 28 - AP - Miles (sic) Standish, 69, ninth lineal descendent of the Pilgrims military leader of the same name, died suddently today (28 Nov.)
A native of historic Plymouth, Standish had been opposed to the celebrating of Thanksgiving on any other day than the last Thursday in November.
