Records of from cemetery office shows her date of birth 12/31/1835, but the date of birth is correct on this memorial. The records also show that her daughter, Mary Baker VanBuskirk owned the plot. Mary and her husband are buried within a 15' radius of Serena. While I visited the cemetery, I did not notice this or I would have visited this site as well with my trip to the cemetery 05/29/2017. Serena's youngest son, Ira Edgar, and his wife is buried next to her in the cemetery.
I also wonder if the other Biggs people buried within this radius is related to Serena as well? Let me know if anyone is aware of the tie, [email protected]
