Born December 18, 1867, at Bergens, N.Y., he was aged 75 years 10 months 2 days. He was the son of. Dr. and Mrs. Robert Andrews of Bergens, N.Y.
The Rev. Andrews became pastor of the McVeytown Presbyterian Church, September 4, 1904, serving a period of about 29 years. Under his pastorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the congregation and the 100th anniversary of the erection of the present church edifice were observed. Peters, now pastor of Huntingdon Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Dr. Clifford E. Davis, present pastor, who resigned recently, his resignation becoming effective December 1.
Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Topley, and two sons, Earl T. Andrews, Mount Union, and L. Douglas Andrews, St. Marys. The funeral services will be conducted in McVeytown Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon, 2 o'clock.
