Coleman Funeral Services Friday
Funeral services for W.S. Coleman, Anadarko, a former resident of the Carnegie community, were held Friday afternoon in the First Baptist church, Anadarko. Mr. Coleman died suddenly of a heart attack in his home early Wednesday morning.
Rev. O.V. Ray, Hominy, officiated at the services and burial was in the Carnegie cemetery.
Mr. Coleman was born in Van Buren county, Ark. on February 8, 1896. He died on his sixtieth birthday. He lived east of Carnegie and farmed there for several years before moving to Anadarko. He and Mrs. Coleman operated a laundry in Anadarko.
Among the survivors are his wife of the home; four sons, Chester of Walters; Vernon of Wynnewood; Carrol of Dallas, and Jerrel of Anadarko; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Lunsford of Bethany, and Mrs. Lucille Wood of Oklahoma City; three brothers, one sister, two half-brothers and three half-sisters; several nephews and nieces, among them Mrs. M.B. Fanning of Carnegie.
