JOHN Q. PRATER DIED HERE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING

John Q. Prater, age 52 years, died here early Friday morning, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Blooming Grove Baptist church.

Rev. D. P. Cagle will conduct the rites.

Interment will be in the Emmett Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were pending word from his wife in Decatur, Ala.

A former resident of Blooming Grove he had moved sometime ago to Decatur, Ala., but was preparing to move back here when he died.

Surviving are his wife, Decatur, Ala.; a son, T. C. Prater, Corsicana; seven daughters, Alice Prater, Corsicana; Miriam A. Prater, Decatur, Ala.; Johnnie Mae Prater, Decatur, Ala.; Mrs. L. C. Yerby, Corsicana; Mrs. Harvey McClintock, Corsicana; Mrs. Sidney Terry, Corsicana; Mrs. Altus Elmore, Tacoma, Wash.; three brothers Jim Prater, Houston, Tim and Dow Prater, Dallas; five sisters, Mrs. W. W. Lancey, Tanner, Ala.; Mrs. Joe Lusk, Dallas; Mrs. E. H. Northern, Amarillo; Mrs. Tom Poteet, Alverado; Mrs. Otto Northern, Emmett, and other relatives.

Corley's Funeral Home will direct the arrangements.
