Samuel H. Brewer, fifty-seven, of Garfield avenue, Harborcreek, died Thursday after an illness of three months.
Mr. Brewer was born Feb 8, 1909, in Jefferson township Mercer county, and had lived in Harborcreek for 25 years.
He had been employed at the General Electric co., for 37 years and was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club and the Lawrence Park Athletic Club.
During World War II, he served in the Army Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Patton Brewer; his father Frank H. Brewer, of Harborcreek; three sisters, Mrs. Grant (Lillie) Ellsworth, North Clymer, NY., Mrs. Warren L. (Annabelle) Slocum, Harborcreek, and Mrs. Philip (Edna) Rathmell, Erie; three stepsons and four stepdaughters in Elkin North Carolina, a nephew, Kenneth Slocum, Erie; and two aunts, Mrs. Minnie Elder, Hagersville, Ont., and Mrs. Alan (Donna) Youngquist, Erie.
Friends amy call at the W. Allen Firman Funeral Home, 1216 Bartlet Rd., Harborcreek, today from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday form 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and attend services there Monday afternoon at 2 with the Rev. Wendell E. Minnigh of South Harborcreek Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Stateline cemetery.
