Mrs. Mattie C. Parrot Lundy has a CSA pension application on line in the GA archives virtual vault. She shows proof of marriage to Wm C. D. Lundy on 3/16/1869 and says he died Feb. 1, 1906 in Green County, GA. Her husband enlisted in March 1862 and served with Company K of the 44th GA cavalry. His unit with Cook's Brigade surrendered in April 1865, but he was in Ft. Delaware prison after being captured. She was first admitted to the pension rolls as being disabled and received a $50 year pension, but later that was increased. When she died on April 12, 1926 her family received $150 to pay for her funeral.
