Clement H. Pepin, 79, of Central Avenue in Burlington, died on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born in Burlington on Dec. 18, 1920, the son of Adelard and Alice (Belair) Pepin. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at General Electric and retired in 1971. He was a member of St. Anthony's Parish, St. John the Baptist Club and the VFW Howard Plant Post 782. He is survived by two brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Roland (Doris) Pepin and Mr. and Mrs. Roger (Jeannette) Pepin, both of Burlington; three sisters, Rose Lapointe of Burlington, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Doris) Monell of Burlington and M. Lucy Bouffard of Winooski; also many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Pauline Rainville; and by a brother, Arthur ""Six" Pepin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ready Funeral Home, South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington.
