He was a native Montanan born in 1932 who only left Montana to serve in the military. Sid married Lynne Murray Albright and had one daughter, Judy Albright Bovington.
Sid attended Montana State University and worked at the smelter in East Helena and as an auditor and accountant for the state of Montana. Sid enjoyed reading mysteries, history, Mark Twain and mathematics. He also had a passion for working on cars. He dearly loved fishing, especially on the Yellowstone River. Sid was kind and gave of his love to his child and grandchildren unconditionally.
Sid was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Albright and Shirley Marlow, and his stepmother, Ruby Albright.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy, and her husband, Tom; his grandchildren, Helen and Neal; his sister, Bonnie A. Willson of Miles City and her family; his cousin, Patricia Mueller of White Bear Lake, Minn., and her family; Lynne Murray Albright; Renee and Kurt Pipinich; and other relatives. Memorials may be sent to the Montana Historical Society or Trout Unlimited.
