COLGAN - On Tuesday, Dec 28, 1886, Keran Colgan, father of Thomas J and James F Colgan, of pneumonia, in his 70th year.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, at 9 A. M. from fro his late residence, 383 Grand St., Jersey City; thence to St Bridget's Church, where a solemn requiem mass will be offered for the happy repose of his soul.

On Sunday, January 2, Rev. Father Hanly, rector of St Bridget's, paid a beautiful and well-merited tribute to the memory of Kieran Colgan who for many years kept the marble and granite works at Nos 381 and 383 Grand Street, Jersey City. The Rev. Father highly eulogized his many virtues as a good Christian and a man who in all the relations of his life proved himself upright and just and honorable. He was buried from St Bridget's Church on Thursday morning, December 30 and a very large funeral cortege accompanied his remains to the Hudson County Cemetery, where the interment took place.
