Ex-Resident of Lind Area Dies, Seattle
HATTON - Funeral services were held July 15 at 10 a.m. at the Green
Lake Funeral home in Seattle for Mrs. Mable (Watson) Switzler, another early
resident of Adams county.
Charles P. (Dick) Switzler preceded his wife in death several years
ago. Interment was beside her husband in the Carnation cemetery.
Mrs. Switzler's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Watson, homesteaded the
farm now owned by Frank Gering.
Mr. and Mrs. Switzler left Adams county in 1903 and settled at Carnation,
Wash., later moving to Seattle, where she resided until her death.
The city lots in Lind where the south side well is located were formerly
owned by Mr. and Mrs. Switzler.
