Services for Mart E. Graybeal, 48, Silver Lake, will be Wednesday in Southwest Christian Church with burial in Prairie Home Cemetery north of Topeka under direction of Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary.

He was born February 6, 1926 at Burlington. He was employed by Rock Island Railroad as a car inspector for 23 years. He was a member of Southwest Christian Church.

He served in the European Theater during World War II as a paratrooper in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division.

He was married to Grace Baysinger. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Michael Graybeal, Topeka; 4 daughters, Mrs. Nancy Thomas, Rossville, Mrs. Teresa
Crouse, Silver Lake, and Della Graybeal and Sheila Graybeal, both at home; 4 brothers, June Graybeal, Lyndon, Francis Graybeal, Boulder, Colo., Wesley Graybeal, Denver, Colo., and Wilbur Graybeal, Delia; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Salee, Edgerton, Mo., Mrs. Lucille Doherty, Topeka, and Mrs. Addie Brougher, Delia; a stepsister, Mrs. Yvonne Shepard, Burlington; and a granddaughter.
