Frank B. Cihlar
Frank B. Cihlar, 64, of 1640 Ohio St., died unexpectedly today at 5:45 a.m. at his home
He was born in Cadott, Wis., on Sept. 1, 1903, and came to Oshkosh in 1923. He was married here to Rose Schneider on Oct. 20, 1929
Mr. Cihlar had been employed at American Excelsior Co. for 45 years as a grinder. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Surviving are his widow, Rose; two. Sons Frank R. and Gerald J. Cihlar, Oshkosh; one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Schmidt, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Mary Vajert, Oshkosh, one brother, James Cihlar, Albuquerque, N.M.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home and 8:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with the Rev. Roger McClone officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
