The June 3, 1880 Federal Census for McPherson lists Flora as age 26, born in Illinois and has one son Hiram, age 2. The March 1, 1895 Kansas State Census shows her living in South Sharps Township, (Marquette, KS) with son Hiram, age 17, daughter Winnie, age 14, son Arthur, age 9, and son George, age 3. Evidently she died 2 years later evidenced by the date on the small stone.
