Denzil Cuppett, 59, passed away on June 8, 2010 at St. Mark's Hospital in Millcreek Township from complications due to cancer. She died peacefully with her family at her side.

Denny was born November 21, 1950 in Greenville, MI. She was the third child and only daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn Thomas Wolf.

She spent her early childhood in Albion, MI and moved to Livonia, MI while in junior high school. She graduated from Livonia High School and Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia, MI.

She married Bruce C. Cuppett on November 7, 1970 at St. Mary's Chapel in Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI. Following their marriage, they lived in Farmington, MI, Twin Falls, ID, and Boise, ID. Their son Andrew was born in Boise, ID.

Bruce's military service encompassed thirty-plus years, and the last two assignments brought them to the Salt Lake area. They relocated to Sandy, UT in 1991.

Denny served alongside her husband Bruce, and upon his retirement from the military, she received many awards for her service to the country. Denny had a long history of employment in the insurance and accounting industries. She was an accountant in the insurance industry for over thirty years. Most recently, she had been employed as an accountant at Fred Moreton & Company in Salt Lake City for the last five years.

Denny was very diligent in continuing her education and training over the years. She attended several courses, certification classes, and conferences throughout her career. She held licenses in the insurance industry, and was active in the Insurance Woman of Idaho and the Insurance Women of Salt Lake City.

Denny was also very active in the soccer community in Utah. She served in various positions which included being a soccer mom, team manager, multiple board positions, and volunteered for all major events.

Denny is survived by her husband Bruce, son Andrew, both of Sandy, UT; her mother Evelyn Wolf of Florida; brothers Barry (Claire) Wolf and Craig Wolf, both of Michigan; sister-in-law Barb Cuppett of Illinois; brother-in-law Charles Cuppett of Colorado; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Kenneth Wolf; and her in-laws, Jack and Beverly Cuppett.

A memorial service for Denny will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The service will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple DelL Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
