Her father was William R. Amon and her mother, Nellie (Wilder) Amon. 1880 they were living at Greasewood, Umatilla County, Oregon. They moved to Downs, Lincoln Coumty, WA in 1889.

Addie married first to David Benton Strickler 18 January 1893. He died in 1898 leaving her with 3 small children. One little girl Mabella had died in infancy in 1895.

Addie stayed in Harrington where she raised her son, Will, and daughters, Ruth and Hazel. She donated land in the southwest part of Harrington so the Methodist Church could be established. This building was razed in the 1920's.

When her daughter Ruth died in 1911 she moved that August to Spokane, WA. She transferred her church membership to the Fowler Methodist church where a widower, Rev A. Vern Spicker was pastor.

She married second to Vern Adolphus Spicker 11 June 1922 in Spokane, WA. In 1956 they moved to Yakima, Yakima County, WA and he died there in 1956.

Following his death she moved to Summit View Manor in Yakima where she received nursing care.

Her death was caused primarily from pneumonia.
