She was born January 27, 1906, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of Archie and Ida Perrine Brownlee.
Mrs. Prutzman graduated from Mt. Vernon Academy in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, where she met her husband, William E. Prutzman. They were married November 23, 1925, and was married 71 years until her husband's death in 1997. They lived in Canonsburg and several locations in Washington County and later lived in North Port, Fla., before retiring back to Western Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Prutzman loved farming and gardening. Over the years, she operated dairy farms and a chicken farm. She always had a warm smile and sparkling clear eyes.
She was a lifelong and active member of Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving are three children, Eleanor June Prutzman (Arlin) Owen of Collegedale, Tenn., Harold E. (Jean) Prutzman of Washington and Archie R. (Leona) Prutzman of Lumberton, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 11, with Dr. Robert Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
