Mrs. Sarah S. Bricker, believed to have been the oldest resident of Palmyra, died on Tuesday evening at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Garley, of 116 North Harrison street. She was in her ninety fifth year, and had been suffering for some time from general debility.
Mrs. Bricker resided in Palmyra for 22 years, coming here from Elizabethtown. She was a member of the Mennonite church, and was very well known in the boro.
She leaves five sons, Amos Bricker, of Mt. Joy; Aaron, of Harrisburg; Hiram, of Brachmanville; Monroe, of Harrisburg; R. D.; and Samuel, of Hershey R. D. 2; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Greene, of Middletown; Mrs. William Garley; Mrs. Abraham Kipp, of Elizabethtown, and Mrs. Anna Bricker, of Elizabethtown.
