Little is known of Stephen's Russian family or background because the Russian Revolution was going on and family/records were lost.
Stephen studied to be an Optometrist. He and Mary moved to the Denver area to make their home near Mary's relatives. They had 2 sons, Robert John Ring and Stephen Jr. who died as an infant and was buried near Mary and Ignati Golovanoff.
Stephen died in June of 1969 and is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery beside Mary and his son Robert {and wife Winnie.)
