Mrs. D. C. Kimbrell Daad. Grandma Kimbrell passed away Thursday at 6 a. m. She had been in very poor health for several months and her death had been momentarily expected for some time. Funeral services were conducted Friday by Rev. Epperly, of Neodesha, she having been a member of the Baptist church for many years. The remains were interred in the Jackson cemetery where her husband was laid to rest about eight years ago. She was one of the Kansas pioneers, the greater part of her 74 years of life having been spent in Kansas and in this immediate locality. 8he was the mother of several children who are grown to manhood and womanhood and live in other states. Mrs. Alice Elmore is the only one of the family living at this place. In the death of Grandma Kimbrell the community loses an honest, industrious, faithful member whose memory will be cherished among her many old time friends.
