Violet Louise Berry Reardon, 72, died Saturday, August 16, 2003, in Warrensburg.

She as born May 23, 1931, in Adrian, the daughter of Raymond Berry and Georgia Lee Deardorff Berry.

Violet was a lifetime resident of the Warrensburg area.

She was employed for 15 years at Wilson's Cafe and retired from Town & Country Shoe Co. after 24 years of service.

She is survived by one son, Ricky Reardon, Warrensburg; two grandsons, Kevin Reardon, Higbee, and Jeremy Reardon, Warrensburg; two stepgranddaughters, Ivanna Beebe and Ora Beebe, both of Warrensburg; two nephews, John Michael Schultz and Mitchell Dale Schultz, both of Warrensburg; four nieces, LeAnn Delgato, Park City, Kansas, Kathy Bender, Harrisonville, Marjorie Yvonne Potts, Freeman, and Janice Huge, Harrisonville.

Also surviving are nine great-nephews and six great-nieces, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and a half-sister, June Gathright, Springfield.

Violet was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Lee Berry, in 1968, and one sister, Ethel Irene Schultz, in 1987.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 21, at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home, Warrensburg, with the Rev. Frank Myers officiating.

Visitation was from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment was in the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Reardon, Jeremy Reardon, Doug Coombes, David Nathan Schultz, Steve Hodges, Mitchell Schultz, Eddie May, and Ora Beebe.

Honorary pallbearers were Mike Schultz, David Sulcer, C.L. Kendrick, Herb Kendrick, Brandon Alexander, Robert "Chuck" May, and Patrick Beebe May.
