Rosemary Suzanne "Posy" Boyle was the second of two children.
Raised in Wisconsin, she attended Milwaukee State Teachers College graduating in 1942, and was a member of the KAPPA LAMBDA IOTA Sorority
In 1948 Posy was teaching English in Seattle.
In 1949 she married Edward Jones at St. Monica's in Santa Monica, CA. The couple lived in Santa Monica for about a year, with Ed being in business with his brother-in-law (Paul Koch) before deciding to return to Seattle.
Posy's parents also relocated to Seattle.
Posy loved teaching and loved her students.
In about 1955 Posy and Ed adopted a baby boy.
They remained in Washington until her passing.
