Ben F.Walden CHARLESTON, Ill. Ben F. Walden, 70, of Charleston, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Wednesday at the Harper-Swickard funeral home, with burial in Bethel cemetery. Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Walden, a retired building contractor, was born Aug. 21, 1893, in Westfield, the son of William and Ellen McMann Walden. Surviving are his widow, Irene, and the following children: Mrs. Jean Lefftner and Mrs. Alma Calhoun, both of Mattoon; Ben S. Walden, Mrs. Dorothy Oliver and Harry Walden, all of Charleston: Klan and Helen Walden, both of Tucson, Ariz., and Sgt. Carl Walden, with the Army in Germany, and three brothers, Walter, Mattoon; Emmett and L. A., both of Charleston
