Mrs. Guy (Maude) Hoppough, 77, died at Belding Hospital Monday afternoon after several months illness. She had been a patient there one week.

She was born in Ronald Township August 8, 1882, the daughter of Benjamin and Alice (Minier) Comstock and was married January 17, 1903 to Guy Hoppough.

Besides her husband, Guy, she survives by three daughters, Mrs. Erlyn (Lila) McCain of Flint, Mrs. Elgie (Irene) Warden, and Mrs. Stanley (Dorothy) Robinson of Orleans; three sons Raymond Hoppough of Lake Odessa, Frank of Ionia and Floyd of Clarksville; 19 granchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ernest Morgan of Hastings, and three brothers, Fred Comstock of Oak Park, Ill., Bert of Sears, and Ben of Ionia. A son, Marvin, died at the age of two, and George died several years ago.

The body of Mrs. Hoppough will be at the family home on Hoppough road, Orleans, until time of the funeral. Services will be held at the Ellis Funeral Home in Belding Thursday at 2 p.m.. Interment will be at the Orleans Cemetery. The Rev. H.S. Ellis will officiate.

Bearers will be Robert Pierson, Robert Heppe, Lee Harrington, Robert Bennett, Russell Patrick and Albert Schmidt.
