Ada H. Jarrett, 91 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Manor Care of Gig Harbor in Gig Harbor, Washington on January 10, 2006. She was born on September 13, 1914 in Bakersville, North Carolina to William & Cordelia (McKinney) Howell. Ada married John Jarrett in 1953. He preceded her in death in 1987. Surviving are sister Lois Hall of Spruce Pine, North Carolina; granddaughter Michelle Cartwright of Port Orchard, Washington; great-granddaughter Ainsley Cartwright; and son-in-law Harold Abbott of Port Orchard. She was preceded in death by daughter Betty Abbott, 3 sisters, and a brother. Memorial services will be held in North Carolina.
