SANDRA HODGE DOUGLAS

Sandra Hodge Douglas, 43, of Prospect, Ky., and formerly of Martinsville, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at her home.

She was born Oct. 26, 1957 in Martinsville, daughter of Odell Hodge of Martinsville and the late Dora Niblett Hodge.

She had been director of international marketing for the Brown Formen Corp. for four years. She was a member of the National Black MBA Association and served on the board of directors for the Louisville (Ky.) United Way and the Brown Formen Diversity Council. She also was a member of Green Castle Baptist Church and the church choir.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are her husband, Kelvin J. Douglas of the home; two sons, Jaret R. Douglas and Jason E. Douglas, both of the home; one sister, Linda H. Payne of Martinsville; and one brother, Jerry A. Hodge of High Point, N.C.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Martinsville at the St. Paul High Street Baptist Church. The Rev. William A. Shackleford will preside. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the church a half hour prior to the funeral Saturday and other times at the home of her father, Odell Hodge, 377 Cordover Drive, Martinsville.

Memorials may be made to the St. Paul High Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
