Curtis, Earl Eby, son of Brother and Sister A. K. Curtis, born in Scott County, Kans., April 9, 1898, died at their home in McPherson, Kans., Sept 6, 1917, aged 19 years, 4 months and 27 days. he was baptized in the bounds of the Mohawk Valley church, Oregon, in the spring of 1909. Although converted at a general revival, and living far away from a Brethren church, he insisted on joining the church of his parents. Whenever possible, he was always at church services. Earl Eby was a young man of consistent and singularly pure Christian life. Although afflicted, he was always cheerful and a source of inspiration to all. He leaves father, mother, five brothers and one sister. Services by the writer. [A. J. Culler, McPherson, Kans.]
