Bismarck - Henry Clifton Looper, 84, of Bismarck, died Thursday, April 9, in a Hot Spring County hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Hot Spring County, was a retired farmer, a member of the Beaton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Floyd Looper and Doyle Looper, both of Bismarck, and Carl Looper of Malvern; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Small of Hot Springs, Mrs. Addie Hinderhofer of Aston, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Harvey Looper, Fred Looper, and Raymond Looper, all of Bismarck; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Fayson of Hot Springs, Mrs. Fannie Sanders of Malvern, Mrs. Nettie Street of Bismarck; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Beaton United Methodist Church with Rev. Milburn Dunnaway and Rev. Irvin Massey officiating.
Burial will be in the Beaton Cemetery by Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Pallbearers are grandsons and nephews. [from the Sentinel-Record, Saturday, April 11, 1981, page 10]
